I really enjoy this annual event and look forward to it every year. In addition to the great wine tasting, Terrace Lakes invites quality artists and Craftpersons to attend the festival. Some of my favorite finds have been wood carvings, willow furniture, quilts, hand dyed fabrics, scented candles and jewelry. Believe it or not, I usually start my Christmas shopping at the Terrace Lakes Wine and Art Festival. It’s tough to think about Christmas in the summer sun, but I’ve had great luck with the gifts I have given from the Terrace Lakes artists. I usually find something special for myself, too.
My favorite part though, is relaxing and visiting with friends and neighbors, meeting new friends and enjoying the wine, music and food. Hope to see you there!

Soar Like An Eagle
The views from this lot always make me feel like I’m flying.
Overlooking both the South Fork and the Middle Fork drainages, this property really gives you a birds eye view of the valley. Ah! But you ask “How steep is it?” That’s the beauty of this property. You won’t need wings to get to it.
It is located in Mountain Shadows. The Mountain Shadows neighborhood offers paved roads, underground power and phone to each lot. The density is low with average parcel sizes of 2 acres. For the perfect place to roost, build your nest on the level building site and watch the clouds go by.![]()

Lower Utility Bills with Geothermal Heat
As usual I like to wrap up the week with one of your favorite listings. This home, in Garden Valley, offers a unique combination of stylish craftsman construction, natural hot water, over 3 acres of horse pasture, some of the best Garden Valley views, and a private location.![]()
Many folks are unaware that there are several pockets of private land, in Garden Valley, were natural hot water can be found. This property has it’s own hot water well. The well water is used to heat the home, fill the whimsical, cattle trough hot tub, and irrigate the pasture. Watch your heating bills dive when you can enjoy the many advantages of geothermal heat. By now you probably have your thermostat turned off and are tip toeing around on cold floors every morning. Natural hot water heat is so inexpensive and versatile it’s a perfect heat source to warm those floors.
If you missed visiting this home during the May, Garden Valley, Parade of Homes, it’s not too late to arrange a showing.

Castle Mountain Creeks Real Estate Market Update
June 3rd, 2008 Categories: Castle Mountain Creeks, Garden Valley Real Estate
Market conditions, since my February report to you, have not changed significantly. After the long winter we are starting to see a slight increase in interest. Nothing really to write home about. The media is tentatively starting to report some signs of life in the economy. The overall northwest market, including Boise, is seeing some slow but steady increases directly related to price adjustments. Many economists are predicting we have seen the bottom of the market in this part of the country. I expect the rise back up to the top will take some time, especially as it relates to land values.
Here are the facts, Ma’am:
If you would like more detailed information, I’m in the neighborhood and always available to help. You can contact me at this link.
