Shilo - Peaceful and Quiet in Garden Valley
The word Shilo is derived from an ancient word meaning peaceful and quiet. The name says it all when describing this serene mountain cabin in Shilo Ranch Estates, Garden Valley. The timbered neighborhood is known for its charming homes and Scott Mountain views.
The home on Spur Road is suited to the neighborhood. It has barely been used and is in new condition. The single level, great room, floor plan is perfect for any family gathering or entertaining.
Listen to the morning birds, watch the white tail deer wonder through the yard and pick out the stars overhead. Shilo could be your tranquility.

Independence Day

4th of July - Salute The Red, White and Blue
I always look forward to the 4th of July in Garden Valley Idaho. The town’s celebration is ….. hmmm, I’d say robust! There will be no shortage of flags, grilled food, duck races, water guns, parades, uniforms and fireworks. The whole town will come together in one central location to mark the most important anniversary in our countries history ….. and have fun doing it.
Challenge! Meet Me At the Flag Raising.
The Garden Valley 4th of July Calendar of Events starts with a Flag Raising Ceremony at 8:30 am at the Garden Valley Properties office. The scouts raise the flag, General Kane honors us with a few words about the “Stars and Stripes” attendees recite the “Pledge of Allegiance”, and the gifted cast of the Starlight Mountain Theater lead us in the “Star Spangled Banner”. It’s an appropriate start to the day’s events.
I am always pleased to see the same folks attend each year. I am always disappointed to see the same absences each year. I challenge you to start your day with a reflection of what the 4th of July really means. Bring your kids, bring your Moms, Let’s not forget the real meaning of this anniversary.
GOD BLESS THE USA

The Crouch Volunteer Ambulance Service is comprised of local citizens who volunteer their time for EMT training, responding to emergencies and spending many hours on call to be available for all the residence and visitors to the Garden Valley and West Boise County Area. Some of these folks have been active volunteers for years. Now that’s commitment to your community and to your neighbors. I’d be surprised if every one of us hasn’t reaped the benefits of their dedication whether is be ourselves, our families or our friends. The Crouch Volunteer Ambulance Service has gotten me out of more than one jam over the years.
Lets support these fine folks and give them a giant Thank You. By supporting the Crouch Volunteer Ambulance Service you are insuring that this service will be there when you and your family needs help. Either way, You’re the WINNER!
