Thanks for the comment.  This years event, in Garden Valley, was especially fun.  I had my grandchild with me.  Wee walked past a spinner and Josh asked "What is that".  The women spinning her wool, explained what she was doing, where the wool came from and then displayed some finished products, hats and scarves, etc.</description>

We just attended the 21st Annual Fall Fiber Festival at Montpelier (see A Day in the Virginia Countryside - Part One) and echo your delight in this traditional craft.  For us, getting out of the city is always a treat and when you add beautiful weather and the chance to learn something new it makes for a perfect day.
