Fit & Fall Proof Classes Are Coming to Garden Valley

For years the Central District Health Department’s (CDHD) has been offering “Fit and Fall Proof” classes to seniors in the Treasure Valley. Now the popular classes are coming to the Garden Valley Senior Center every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 p.m., beginning January 19th. Participants can join the class at any session.
The free “Fit and Fall Proof” classes teach seniors simple exercises that increase strength, balance and endurance, and can help prevent debilitating injuries caused by accidental falls and tripping sometimes associated with age.
